Hillwood Primary School Returns to the Hillwood Golf Academy Family
Hillwood Golf Academy is delighted to share some good news: Hillwood Primary School is back on board, and its learners start with us in Term 4 (October to December 2026). The Academy first started at Hillwood Primary, and the school has always been close to our story.
Why the Learners Stepped Away
Because of gang violence in the surrounding area, the learners were not able to leave the school grounds to travel to Royal Cape Golf Club, and so they could not take part for a time. The safety of the children always comes first, and we are grateful to the school for keeping them safe.
A Fresh Start in Term 4
We are thrilled that the learners can now join the Academy again, and they will start in Term 4, from October 2026. For many of them, stepping onto a golf course is about much more than learning a sport. It is about discovering new spaces, building confidence and seeing what becomes possible when a community believes in them.
Welcome back, Hillwood Primary. We cannot wait to see you on the course.

Growing to Three Schools
With Hillwood Primary returning, Hillwood Golf Academy will be managing golf tuition for three schools from Term 4. It is a clear sign of growth, and of the trust that schools and families place in what golf can do for their children.
More learners on the course means more coaching, more equipment and more transport to Royal Cape Golf Club. Every additional school is another group of young people who deserve a fair chance, and we cannot reach them without the support of people who believe in them.
Help us coach three schools
As the Academy grows, so does the need for coaching, equipment and transport. Your support helps us give more young people the chance to grow through the game of golf.
