Under Armour Gives Hillwood Golfers a Step Up with a Donation of Golf Shoes
Hillwood Golf Academy is proud to thank Under Armour for a generous donation of 10 pairs of golf shoes for our young golfers. The shoes arrived at the end of June, and on 4 August, in the third school term, they were given to the boys from Khanyisa Waldorf School Plumstead at Royal Cape Golf Club.
Delivered with Care
Our contact at Under Armour, Andrew Kallis, personally delivered the shoes to the Academy. We are grateful to Andrew for championing Hillwood within Under Armour and for making sure the donation reached our boys.
Why the Right Shoes Matter
Golf is played on grass, slopes and uneven ground, and a proper golf shoe gives a player the grip and stability to swing with confidence. For many of our boys, who often train in everyday sneakers, a pair of real golf shoes is a big step up. It helps them feel like golfers, properly equipped and proud to be part of the Academy.
Thank you to Under Armour and Andrew Kallis for putting our boys in the right shoes, and for believing in what these young golfers can achieve.
